Writer. Midwesterner. That Dog Mom.

Like any Millennial worth their salt, I started my creative career on Neopets. 11 years old and dissatisfied with premade webpage layouts, I taught myself Creative Suite and HTML/CSS over the course of a summer, eventually scaling my design experimentation to a successful (if questionable by Neopets.com bylaws) layout business. Now, two decades later, I continue to apply my entrepreneurial spirit and keen eye for what looks good and reads well to a career as a Creative Services Manager at Microsoft.

When I’m not running content and creative strategy, I can usually be found at my local bookshop/cafe/bar (pictured to the left in my natural habitat). I am passionate about social justice and mental health advocacy and volunteer with several organizations whose missions I support. I am also passionate about musical theater, the Detroit Lions, and my dog Ted.

At work, I bring a unique perspective informed by my training as a writer, marketer and strategist; unbridled energy; plenty of custom Slack emojis and approximately zero Oxford commas (a habit I am willing to break pursuant to your brand’s style guide). I love what I do, and I’ve been told more than once that this passion is infectious.
